Both Simonstone and Read Parish Councils are keen to relaunch their combined Youth Council for young people aged 12 – 17.
The Youth Council aims to give young people in Read and Simonstone an opportunity to have more of a say about what happens in their community and have a positive impact on village life.

If you want to make any improvements or solve any problems, then this is your chance to be heard!
Led by local teenagers, this group would hold regular meetings that tap into the wider village community making sure that your opinions are heard and considered.
